Anyone interested in a trip to Holme Pierrepont, the National Whitewater Sports Centre in Nottingham on Wednesday?

After all that slalom my interest is renewed even more and I want to go training. Would anyone be interested in a lift up there and sharing petrol?

We'd probably leave at around 1400 and return when we got bored.

NB: The water is quite challenging to those without a rock solid roll and I won't be doing rescue service (sorry!).

G

PS:

Frequently asked questions section:

"Will I need a creek boat?" - No.

"Is it in Wales?" - No.

"Can I take the piss out of you instead taking you up on your offer of a lift and going canoeing*?" - I'd rather you didn't, I'm very sensitive.

* (which we all know wins any argument)

"Am I a ****" - Yes.

AvatarI'm in.

I'll be happy to provide Rodeo training to those competing later this term (mainly consisting of the best paddle-spin techniques).

AvatarSorry TV, I know I said I would be, but I'm hating always having to drive to N Wales to go boating and will be making the trip Thursday or Friday anyway don't want to do it twice with so little rain forcast.
