Anyone interested in getting a polo deck and helmet as part of a discounted group order? Having the pair that fit properly all the time is nice and both together shouldn't be too much over £100. That's only 5 'heavy' nights of drinking! I will be keeping the club kit up to scratch, I'm not trying to get rid of a job for myself here.

Do you have something like a website where I could have a look at the proposed kit?

Sorry Andy, I haven't really looked at any particular stuff yet. Jenna's new Ainsworth helmet looks very nice, not sure what they cost, but they could be an option.

Yeah possibly seeing as I plan to do it for the next 4 years so it'll be a fairly long term investment.

I'm definitely looking for a deck, and I suppose a good helmet that doesn't wobble and expose my face to being paddled would be a good idea... Maybe I could tell my parents that its dangerous without and that they should buy me one :-)

I like that tactic ben obviously a deck is an important safety factor aswell. Otherwise you'd sink, sit lower in the water or swim and your head would be at paddle/boat height greater increasing the risk of head injuries.

Hey is there still going to be a polo order going ahead?Talking to Jenna yesterday about getting a deck, and I'd really like my own. If we weren't going to do a big order I'll just get from Jenna anyways

Hello all. Since it's just a few people I won't be doing a kit order. Sorry chaps and chapesses! You'll get to choose exactly what you want anyway.

| in that case if you are interested in shiny new kit, let me know what you want and i can get an order in.
Decks - Have a special offer on nookie shock decks - only a few left but going at a bargain £35 to you guys. It's a basic neo deck (no latex). Mine has survived over 2 yrs now and is still going strong - and dry. If you want something else let me know and i'll see what I can do!(Ian - i will see what i can come up with for you with latex on). Can't get to them to see what sizes are left, but I'll bring what I have got to polo on Tues (Rowena gets first choice).
Helmets - mine is indeed lovely - ask for a look/try on Tuesday (but only if you have a small head!). They come in 4 sizes (mine being the littlest), so if you want to try different sizes I can bring a couple of samples. These will need to be ordered in specially as we don't stock them normally, but you can try the river version for size before ordering.
The helmets cost £55 normally, but will do them at £47.50 for you. Choice of Black, white or silver.
Face guards - the best ones come from Dave Brown. I can get them in but he will charge us the same as he charges you lot, so it would be cheaper for you to order them direct from him as a group. (in fact you may even be able to convince him to give you a group discount).
