get one that fits well and has all the features you want. I've got a yak descent because all the palm ones were too wide, plus it has 70N of bouyancy, a zip for easy removal in cold weather, big pocket, knife pocket and a harness. One of the seams has ripped out but i fixed it, but anyway don't buy one. Can't have people having the same BA as me!

I have an Axis - it seems to work well. The Nookie River Monster seems to be another popular one. The best thing to do it try a load of them on though - most have similar features so comfort will be the deciding factor.

I recommend you get one with holes where your nipples are. That's what I recommend.

Get one with a zip in the side like the HF ones ... gives you 50% chance of saving the BA in the event of a dislocation! :p

Looks good. I think I'll probably try out a few when I get there, see which ones fit best. not liking the sound of dislocation :-S

make sure you try in on with your kit underneath, fleeces and thermals can add quite a bit to your size. You don't want to "do a Ben" (anyone remember the helmet/ haircut post?).
