 | Just a quick note to say there are some car spaces up for grabs for a trip to the French Alps in the second week of June. Jon, Noj, myself and possibly Louise are gonig so far. We'll be leaving early and driving down through France on saturday 7th June, paddling sunday-saturday, returning on sunday 15th. 1-2 days warm up on grade 3ish, then G4 for the rest of the week - so competancy at this level and a reliable roll are musts. We'll be camping, though location(s) are yet to be finalised. If interested reply here or speak directly with Noj or Jon. Good luck at the BUSAs! :) Frodo |

I seem to remember quite a few upside-down decents of rivers at New Years?? |

I was waiting for that... :) Although "quite a few" would be an exaggeration - I only paddled 2.00001 rivers! |

| Frodo's roll seemed very reliable in the stopper at Crack of Doom - I lost count of how many times he rolled back up.
Anyway seriously this is hopefully going to be a really fun, relaxed trip and anyone's welcome to come along, even if just for the fromage and vin rouge. If you want any information on the rivers out there a good place to look is on this website, although it is all in French, ask me for a look at the guidebook (which is in English) or have a look at the photos from the trip there in summer 2006. |

 | A few more pics (mainly on page 2) in this, link from when I nipped out there last year. Low levels though.
Sections were Claree (too low for me to get on!), Slalom course by L'Argentiere, Fournel (ideal for boofing practice) and S bends + Triple step on the Guil.
