Avataryou could certainly do the training, then probably best to ask the person giving the training course whether they think you'll pass the assessment: normally these are two separate courses with a few months inbetween for leading practise etc, and you have to have done the "training" course before you do the "assessment" course, so you may as well do the training now, then mayhap do some leading for the club before arranging an assessment, if the course provider thinks that would benifit you.

ok: i'll ask around after the 26-29th june: paul, could do any couple of days within that for a training course?
would you like to?

Sorry Iain, I'm at work on the 26-27 and running a Level 3 kayak coach training course on the 28-29. Having checked my calender the first free weekend, that I'm not working for School or running climbing courses is the 19-20th July. Do you want to try and organise a date for September? I'm also free for the whole of August and can probably put a course on at anytime then.

Avatarno worries: it was always ambitious to hope to fit somethig in then, that said i haven't given up yet...
I am keen to look at dates for late august/september, but if we held off slightly it'd be good as there's several options floating around in terms of whether we ask you to do a training or an assessment and when...

btw, does the email that this site have for you work? if so you wouldn't need to keep checking through the forum and i could contact you annon?
