AvatarI think it might be something to do with there being less meat eaters since they are higher up a 'food pyramid', they may be harder to catch, and they may collect parasites, toxic stuff and disease from stuff lower down the food chain so aren't as safe to eat. Also, to farm meat eaters, you'd have have to farm their food too, so it's probably expensive.

People eat dogs. I think my nan said that during the second world war, crafty butchers would sell cat as chicken.

AvatarI like cats and everything, and it's probably a bad idea to eat them, but saying all this i probably will try it in China. Maybe dog too.

Avatarapparently it's illegal to eat cats, I guess it's so people don't lure in stray cats, feed them up and eat them.

That is so absurd. I think if it was legal to eat cat, it wouldn't encourage people to fatten up strays!

It's not like meat eaters catch stray chickens and stray cows and stray pigs and feed them up in our own back gardens untill they are nice and fat.
