 | I think it might be something to do with there being less meat eaters since they are higher up a 'food pyramid', they may be harder to catch, and they may collect parasites, toxic stuff and disease from stuff lower down the food chain so aren't as safe to eat. Also, to farm meat eaters, you'd have have to farm their food too, so it's probably expensive. People eat dogs. I think my nan said that during the second world war, crafty butchers would sell cat as chicken.

How can they be angry that he eats cats, but not care that he eats cows?

I think if it was legal to eat cat, it wouldn't encourage people to fatten up strays! It's not like meat eaters catch stray chickens and stray cows and stray pigs and feed them up in our own back gardens untill they are nice and fat.
