well, not exactly, but my wetsuit boots absolutely stink (as a few people in scotland may recall from changing on the bus). Ive tried rinsing them, soaking them, scrubbing them, shouting at them, throwing them across the room, out the door and down the stairs, but nothing seems to be working. I know its ill-advised but has anyone put wetsuit stuff through the washing machine and did it do any damage? presumably you wouldnt put any soap in, and just run it with water, but our machine's minimum temperature is 40, so im concerned about the adhesive bond between the neoprene and the rubbery soles... any suggestions/advice/experiences?

AvatarDon't think washing machines are generally recommended. Have you tried using wetsuit shampoo? (It exists, promise...)

i always put mine in the washing machine on a cold wash with no soap, works well, but probably just as well as putting them under the shower for ages.

they did smell pretty bad!
