Nice one. That drop looks huge.

Nice video, seems like it was a good trip. I am not sure I have ever seen Triple Step (which I think is the one mentioned above) with that little water in. Its normally 2-3 stoppers linked together but it looks a lot steaper there. Have seen a few people dissapear behind that curtain but luckily they have popped out eventually.

Pretty nice running Ubaye Gorge as well on the first trip out there.

AvatarWe've done the Ubaye gorge as well, though unfortunately I didn't take my camera there. The guidebook described it as "the dreaded Ubaye gorge"

Yeah I saw the pictures on the site of the Ubaye. Its a nice run but has a pretty scarey reputation. Have run it a few times once in medium water, when we ran bits of lions den and once in high water where we portaged a lot of the lions den section although the rest was a nice run. I think it deserves it reputation in high water especially as like any gorge its pretty commiting.

Yeah I saw Anthony's email and replied saying I am going to try to start paddling again more. Cant make this weekend as am off on holiday for 2 weeks. Will try and make it up to the polo tournament once the dates are decided and if there are future WW trips.
