Im going to liverpool on thursday next week (28th sept) to hopefully buy a canoe. doubting that bringing it back on the train to coventry will be the funnest thing in the world, if anyone (lives in/lives near/fancies a road trip to)* liverpool, for a cash lump sum**, please let me know. i dont really want to have to walk 3 miles through "there" with a canoe over my shoulder; if i had to walk that distance i'd rather be able to admire the view.

*please delete as appropriate

**more than 2 groats and half a turnip

What boat are you getting? Signe managed to take the acro on a coach but I think that was right at the upper limit for size.

AvatarIf you're desperate and don't mind paying for petrol, I'll give you a lift.

So am I!

I'm going on a 5* training course. Anyone want a lift to Wales to mong around doing something that doesn't involve me driving my car for them after I get there?

Avatarhmmm thanks for the respones guys. Its an inazone 232, a bit bigger than the 220s we have: It fits inside a fiesta - not sure how that compares with an acro...

Noj - thanks very much, very kind offer. how much would your car drink though?
for £20 + 3 miles walking I can do it by train. your car would use more than that would it not?

Ive arranged to go on thursday early afternoon now, and dont want to piss them about by changing that.

AvatarYeah, my car would probably take up about £30ish, maybe a bit more because a boat on the roof would take up more petrol.
