Anyway, I shall ask nicely:

I will bring my camera and film your games.

Please could someone film some of our games?

Nottingham play list is up on their website:
http://www.su.nottingham.ac.uk/~canoepol/Info/Playlist.xls

looks like they only have 4 ladies teams competing, don't get how they're working the men's.

Avatarthe play list does indeed show there being only 4 womens teams. you get 3 games then a final for the top 2 (i presume). the mens is run in 2 separate leagues, with only the top of each league going into a final. no semis/3-4 playoffs, just one final. i have a printout of the playlist anyway and will obv bring it with.

I can't understand how the play list works.

There are eight men's teams entered, and each team plays four games, rather than the three that they would have if we were split into two leagues.  It seems that we are playing four (presumably) randomly selected teams from the pool of eight.  For example, we don't play Bangor, but we do play Nottingham A (RS), and they play Bangor.

The ladies cometition seems to have been organised in a much more conventional way.

AvatarIve heard of cricket leagues in which teams from "league A" only play teams from "league B", rather than the teams in their own league. In principle it works - it gives everyone more games than the traditional approach - but working out overall positions is more difficult when it comes to playoffs/finals etc. However, nottingham's playlist does not work like this either - Jon it certainly does look like "random" ;) yes OK Nottingham A you can play Bangor (who started playing Polo last year and who lost 6-0 to warwick B at the BUSAs), but neither Warwick or Lboro can... ??!! whatever :S
