 | Being different even though you could do something an easier way because it adds variety, has minor benefits in some areas and MOST IMPORTANTLY pisses some europeans off.
eg separate taps, carpets (at least some Norwegians don't like carpets), driving on the left, having crown stamped beer glasses (not any more unfortunately), writing cheques etc.

 | G, you forgot mooning and other British anti-social behaviour! I know you love it so much... Latvia is currently having to adapt to all the British stag dudes, who arrive to find the first British/Irish pub, get pissed and then try climb the Freedom monument which is right in the centre of town, moon at passers by etc... lol I knew knowing this would make you once again proud of your nation. However we've lost the Soviet legislation whereby by putting flowers down by the Freedom monument you got a one-way ticket to Siberia... and have to invent new measures now specifically for you Brits ;) |

 | Carpets are popular in Turkey I think, that doesn't neccessarily mean I like smoking sheesha, in the same way that liking double taps doesn't mean I want to go on a stag party to Latvia and moon all your post soviet dominion country, though that would be fun. |
