 | g'day; greg has decided that this will be vauguely hardcore/"good medium" orientated - and if anyone has any input in where\when they would like it to be then they should catch greg in the grad after canoe today, or reply on here fairly shortly... I personally have no major preferance for either time or place (choices probably range between: lakes (north or south), peaks, wales (north or south), scottland(various locations), potential for ireland?????) |

| Ireland does look good but as Chris said I think it's all or nothing depending on the rain.
It might seem a bit unimaginative to go to Scotland at new year and at Easter, but I doubt we would get bored. |

 | Scotland sounds like a good idea, If the Lakes are running we have to drive past them so can always stop on the way home etc.
How about a different part from Fort William? |

| South of Glasgow looks quite interesting.
Is there a good place to go that is reasonably central for good rivers there? It's tempting to go through all the rivers on that section of UK Rivers Guidebook and work out where they all are but I am really supposed to be working. Anyone looking for some top quality procrastination? |
