AvatarWell we had the chance to organise one last year but it would have cost £150 each, and we couldn't find enough people with that sort of money with interest. I would still like to do one tho.

There are still some places on this course! As said, the course is extremely well taught, gives you a very useful qualification and is free! Let me know asap if you'd like to do it.

AvatarBecause the old gits can afford to spend £150 on a first aid course whereas you poor students can't.

AvatarHi Signe,

Sorry for confusing you... Myself and (i assume) Hayden were talking about the advanced one rather than normal... hence hayden answering to Gregg rather than you.
Old git reference indeed 'cos we are more likely to be able to afford it... And 'cos so far about the only interest is from Hayden, Alistair and me and we are old. (at least i assume you ar eold, Alistair... sorry if not!)
Don't need a place on the normal one... sorry!

The last time we tried to organise an advanced first aid course we did look into people from outside the uni and still didn't get enough people so anyone you can get will be more than welcome.

I will speek to Mike Smith and try to organise one for terms two or three! If you know of anyone else who whould want to do one let me know!
