Chris will be running a CST (canoe safety test) starting next wednesday, and continuing the following wednesday (21st and 28th November) you have to go to both!! Times to be confirmed. This is a really useful thing to have, going through different rescues, throw lines, towing etc, and you'll need it if you want to get into coaching. Sign up will go online tomorrow (wednesday) at 12 o'clock.

Ok guys, the course will be split into 2 half, the first a week today will be looking at bank based theory and rescue so will be taking place on campus, prob on the green outside my house so we can have a good tea break.  We shall meet outside the Sport centre at 1400 (For Madi), with river shoes, BA & Helmet.

The second half will require some water and we shall be heading out to some flat water to do the water based training and have a small assessment.  This day will be slightly longer and will we need to meet at 1200 with full boating kit ready to leave (So i Suggest you meet at 1100 pop to the garage and sort your lives out), we'll prob need an extra car and roof bars to getting everyone off site.

Note pad and pencil is not required but if you have a shit memory like me, it'll do nor harm at all.  This award is for everyone, including Freshers and is extremely worth while.

Avataryou can drive it cant you and then there will be enough drivers with non-roof racks on the car to get the rest of the rabble down.

AvatarYeah, we won't need roof bars, we'll steal boats where we are going so just need car space to get everyone there.
