AvatarThe Alps should be good this year as there has been a lot of snow this season and it is still quite cold so it hasn't started melting yet. This could all change with a week of really high temperatures though.

As mentioned the rivers vary and cover all levels although it is handy to have someone who has been before.
L'Argentiere or the Rab would be the best bet campsite wise for large groups. You should try and make it out for the Student Boater Cross, which is mid to late June I think as there will be loads of people around then.

I'm off to Austria this year, but not until early July so hoping the water lasts. Will be my 10th trip out to the Alps I think, good warm up for the Zam again in Aug :)

AvatarThe last Saturday of term is 28th June, so a tour would most likely be within the first two weeks of the summer holiday - 28th June to 12th July, before people go off to other commitments..
