Signe I'll probably make training. If I don't meet you at the sports centre I'll see you in Leam. If poss can you whack a boat in for me.

No, that's just the group stage of the tournament, there will be further knockout games later in the day and into Sunday.
It probably will mean a long gap between our second and third games - perfect for eating lunch, drinking tea and supporting the B team.

Do we have enough boats for us both to play at the same time? Also can someone give me some advice for what to wear during matches, are cags advised?? Or just thermal and rashie?

I'll be wearing a cag and just a rashvest underneath, maybe a thermal too... Did that last year and it was very good that way. We do have enough boats. But we might want to try share stuff fairly (e.g. Double Dutches) and maybe put those people in plastics (it there's need) who are likely to be subbing more in the first game. Anyway no worrying about it till it's jointly discussed say on Friday night.

A team and ladies are 14 players in total, last night at training we had 12 on the water with one plastic. At BUSA we will have G's boat as well, and I thought I heard we were also getting a couple of new combats - but G or Signe will know more about that. It might be that we need to use a couple of plastics. As for what to wear - a few people wear cags - especially if they will be reffing the next game but most people don't. I find I usually get too warm playing polo in a cag even when in goal. Rash vests are the way forward (but bring a cag in case it snows!) Just make sure you bring a wind-proof jacket to wear on top of your kit between games.

I doubt they will be interested in that - it's hard enough to organise a tournament with a few teams in one swimming pool. In an event that big with four pitches running simultaneously and hundreds of people it will be impossible not to have clashes.
I remember an A team - B team clash in my first year - we had to play ULU with only three players all in plastics. We lost.

I suggest we stop this "shotgun" business, it's probably best to just let Cloughy and Nicky sort out what boats each team gets.
