Hello! Right folks, Sunday of week 3 (11th of May), is the Doggy Paddle, this is a sponsored paddle from Leamington to Warwick Castle, it happens every year and is to raise money for 'Guide dogs for the Blind', its' 19 miles of easy paddling so no one should have any problems. We need to be on the water quite early so will be leaving campus around 8.30 shock horror!( those who live in Leam can come meet us at the get in.)I've been told its' wicked-cool fun and a great break from scary exam revision. Sign up has gone up on the website, so go forth and sign up for the chance to spend a day drifting lazily down stream in the sunshine, with the added bonus of doing something for charity! It costs £7 pounds to enter, and what ever you can raise in sponsorship. This doesn't include transport, so we'll get back to you how much that will cost, won't be much and the more the cheaper! As its' the doggy paddle fancy dress would definitely be appropriate, so all in all it'll be a right laugh,. Madi xxx

Is it still ok to use the club open boat? I spoke to Ben about this a while ago, at BUSA I think. If I acquire Dom's spare set of roof racks by then, I can transport it there and back ok.

last year we swapped around boats quite a lot (it's a long way in the same boat!) so lots of people had a go in the duo and the open.
