 | hmm... this could become an interesting topic of debate...
i would say it is not homophobia which is necessarily whats happening, though im not denying it must be rooted in homophobia in this case. I think its people get used to using certain words as offences for example I often say that I am 'spacking out' but I have no issues with anyone who has disabilitys, or indeed people who are gay. I could just as easily have said bunch of women and I often do and I also have no problem with women. so really what needs to happen is people (and I definitely include myself) should think wbout how they phrase things, and who they might be offending.
