AvatarIf you didn't already know the legendary Warwick Winter Tournament is this Sunday from 1000 - 1800 at the pool. If you're not playing but are interested in being in the teams later in the year it'll be great for you to come along and get a taste of what the game is about. Plus we'd love the support.

The tournament is also Warwick Sport's "One to Watch" for week 8 which, this year, means it'll be filmed by Warwick TV. They've requested that we have a few people to help them out as they are short of people so, if you fancy trying you steady hands at camera work it's a great opportunity to give it a go.

If you're playing in the tournament or fancy filming please turn up at 0900 and get changed and ready asap. That way we'll have lots of people on hand to help set up kit, goals, tables, pa etc. and to help out other Unis with directions. If you're not playing it'd be great to see you at any point throughout the day.

Avatarnottingham won both - oooops.

men: OG A tied with nottingham for top in group on almost every count imaginable, and brum then bangor then warwick A in the other group - all narrowly and on goal difference.
Brum and notts in the final, and bangor got squashed by OG A for third place.

Think it was brum 3rd and warwick 4th in the ladies, which saw some of the best games of ladies polo in the world ever :)

Avatardont forget the SHARKS, we made our debut and were probably the most successful team in terms of reaching our personal goals, no double figures!!!!! whoop whoop

haha, cheers guys, it was awesome playing them. hopefully come busa we'll be on top...

some superb mens games all round as well!
notts A vs/ warwick og A was crazy! especially seeing as i was reffing. both teams failed on every restart to stay in their own half. the last minute was insane when 3 goals were scored so fast and then i had to discount one from nottingham and there were these men twice my size yelling at me. a little scary im not going to lie. im ranting
also memorable was brum vs. warwick og a, particularly when g got pushed in. by tres. love you g :)

i wrote some funny notes about some warwick a game.  i loved it when someone pushed an opposition in and just went in themselves. that was jokes. oh and the few 'almost-swims'...
