The National Student Rodeo 2010 is here!

The largest playboating event in the country (apparently) returns to destroy our livers and dignity. You might get in a boat, but the onus is definitely on ludicrous costumes and inebriated frivolity. If you're not sure what it’s about check out this video, featuring a cameo by our own Herr Dunphy, he’s the one looking dazed and confused.

It will be held at Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham, on the 5th - 7th March, and the party theme will be ancient worlds, so think togas and gladiators. Or maybe just turn up naked and call yourself the Statue of David.

Cost will be around £40 for the weekend, with an extra £10 for a t-shirt, £19 for a hoody and £5 for a “gourmet” burger and pint on the Friday night. Because I’m a simpleton and I won’t be able to remember who wants what, there will be four sign ups, one for each, so remember to do all of them (if you want).

Sign up goes live at 5pm (assuming I remember), so get to it!

Screamer

AvatarPersonally I'd say the t-shirt isn't worth the £10, but I'd recommend the rest of it! :)

Wow they definitely must have upped the prices! £40 is a lot for a trip even without subsidisation!

It's £36 per ticket before transport. The subsidy is a set amount so the more people who sign up, the further it gets stretched per person.

AvatarI've added a sign up for the hoodies as well, if you're so inclined. They cost £19 a pop.
