AvatarJust received this from the facebook group for it:

This years NSR is going to be MASSIVE.

As such, we’ve lined up one of the first screenings of the whitewater kayaking film “Dream Result”. Film makers, and 2 of the worlds most accomplished kayakers right now, Rush Sturges and Tyler Bradt (World record waterfall descent holder at a ridiculous 186 feet) are over from the US and WILL BE AT THE PARTY to host the screening, take your questions and add a bit of a twist to the Saturday night party.

Check out the trailer:

AvatarBeing a 3rd year chemist I have exams weeks 9 and 10 of this term, and can therefor not go. This greatly upsets me as the Rodeo is such a great weekend, even if you don't paddle(or forget to turn up to your heat because you're drinking scrumpy from a demi john).

One of the greatest things about this event is the chance to meet people from other Uni clubs and to have a massive party. Banter is the name of the game and as many of you that can afford it (time or money) should go. We don't want Warwick to look shit do we?

If you still need persuading take a look at these photos and watch the videos.

AvatarI should also emphasise that no previous paddling experiance is needed, the beginners event is the best to watch!

AvatarI think the club should award a prize to whichever member causes the most outrage to the general public this year.

To quote a civilian from last years event: "I can't believe he just did that. I mean, I'm all up for a bit of casual racism, but, that's just...I can't believe he did that."

AvatarIt's done, why are you quitting, quitter?

On other news, sign up will finish on wednesday (the 10th), get to it now! It's looking a lot cheaper then expected and it's going to be one epic weekend.
