 | Polo over the summer. | Posted By: Cloughy On: Fri 13th Jun, 2008 3:17pm |
| Just to inform people that the pool has been booked for Wednesday evenings from 8 pm to 9:30 pm over the summer holidays. I should be around for the majority of the holidays, however if it appears that there will not be enough interest for a session, could people inform me in advance as the pool has requested that we not run sessions for just one person! |

On behalf of the senior management of Warwick Sport can I personally add my thanks for your selfless approach to this calendar. Your enthusiasm is everything that student sport and activity should be about and we are lucky to have such a cohort of students here at Warwick. Steve
Dear All, Just a quick email to thank you all for taking part in the "naked calendar" to raise money for Right To Play. We have now have the proofs back from the designers and the photos look great and I am really looking forward to seeing the finished calendar in the next few weeks, as I'm sure you all are. We are hoping to sell the Calendars over Sports Week at the end of Term and would really appreciate you spreading the word to all your members so that we can sell as many calendars as possible and make as much money as we can for Right To Play. Once I have received the calendars I will send round a few more details and hopefully some of you may want to pick up a box to sell to your members, friends and family. We will also be selling them in the Sports Centre for anyone to buy. Finally the photographer Quentin would like to use the photos for his portfolio and website, so please can you mention this to your members and let me know if you are not happy for the photo to be used and we will ensure it is not used in his portfolio. If we do not hear from you we will assume that you are happy for this to be used. Thank you again for all your help and enthusiasm on this project, we couldn't have done it without you. Kind Regards, Gemma Gemma Morris Sports Development Co-ordinator |
| | Surfers Bar Social | Posted By: Andy On: Tue 27th Apr, 2004 7:38pm |
Hey everyone
Just thought that I'd send final details about the surfers bar social that is happening TOMORROW NIGHT!
Just so everybody knows....Warwick hospitality is opening the bar especially for the club, as it is normally shut at the moment. So everybody can turn up knowing that IT WILL BE OPEN!
The social is going to be starting at 7.30 in the surfers bar at westwood. For those of you that don't know how to get there, I have put directions below, but if you are still unsure just call me to ask.
So, I hope to see everybody there tomorrow night enjoying themselves! Don't forget that myself and Dave have organised a special surprise for everybody - so turn up to see what it is!
Cheers
Alex
Directions:
I'm guessing that most people will be walking to the bar from campus direction. Follow the signs that direct you along the footpath towards the westwood campus (takes you in the direction of University house). Once you have reached the end of this path, you will have to cross over the road and walk towards the westwood sports hall. Follow the path until you reach the netball courts/tennis courts. Turn right down yet another bit of pathway. Turn right when you get to the road, and follow the road around. There will be one small bit of road which is signed as being for delivery vehicles, then another road off to the right. Dont take this road, but keep walking until you reach yet another road that turns off to the right. Walk down here, until you reach the Westwood dining hall on your left. Walk round the side of the building and go in the door. Surfers Bar is then on your right once your inside the building!
I hope those directions are ok - i know they are long winded but I thought that was better than people getting lost. It REALLY sint difficult to find it, it just sounds complicated. From the main road near University house, it should only take a few minutes to get to the bar.
