| There is a National Division 1 polo tournament being held at Coventry pool this Saturday evening (3rd Feb), from 5.00 - 10.00pm. This is a really good opportunity to see some top level canoe polo, and learn a few things about how the game should be played! National Div 1 is certainly the best standard polo you can see in Britain, with the highest level players in the country, many of which have played for/do play for Britain.
If you would like to go, I suggest meeting at the
Arts Centre bus stop on Saturday at 6 o'clock.
We can then mosey-on-down to Coventry pool and watch the polo for a while, then perhaps head for a drink or two. You only need to bring your bus fare and liquid refreshment money.
If you are interested, let me know at polo and post here. It isn't going to be a military exercise, so if you're not at the bus stop in time to catch the 6.10 bus, you'll just have to find your own way there!

| It is indeed. It is pretty much opposite Pool Meadow bus station. For those getting the bus, you can either get off at the stop before the bus station or at the bus station itself, though I'm sure there will be someone there to show you the way! There is a large car park opposite for those who want to drive. |

| I am afraid I can no longer make it as I will be a trip along the M6 away. I'm sure you boys and girls can manage a little bus trip into Coventry by yourselves though - I guess you'll cope without me there to hold your hand! It's definately worth going, if you are free, GO! |

 | we're loading the van from half 4. i will be cycling down to the polo, so unfortunately wont be going to the bus stop. I imagine we'd be done at the sports centre by 5ish, maybe half 5 (depends if anything needs to be mended before it goes in the van). if the polo starts at 5 in cov, it wouldnt matter when people went down after van loading (thered be no specific need to wait until 6...) |
