Hi guys,

Sorry for that late notice (as usual with our great organising skills :P) but it is election time!!!

This year they are being held at the Newbold Comyn Arms in Leamington.  This is situated near the leisure centre in the Newbold Comyn Park. (Post code is CV32 4EU)

Where is it?

For those in leam you can meet us there at around 7:30.

For those living in Cov or on campus will be meeting in the bar at 6:30.

Food is going to be ordered on the night from the bar menu which can be found on this link

Although it appears to be limited, you must remember this pub has currently four guest ales

for leamingtons ale festival, live music and lots of giant sized games such as connect four and jenga!!!!

Hopefully you can all make it, and remember that even if you are not standing for anything,

come along anyway as it is a night of classy entertainment with much to laugh at.

As our reign comes to and end, we bid farewell!

Your ever wonderful social secs,

Nicky & Strongman

Avatarbooo to "rootes social"- it's the bar (or the airport if you're oldschool)!

fairly shocking menu, think i will be eating beforehand: chicken pie, burger, cornish pastie, hot dog, or steak and kidney pie doesn't do much for not eating meat!

AvatarI’ll be there in my thoughts! For those who don’t yet know my invisible presence will be standing for Polo president. Thus my appeal to you now to please vote!
No jokes, all serious manifesto stuff.
Reminder of some things I’ve been up to as kit sec – start of term in office ordered new spray decks, red helmets, arranged for Friday polo sessions, have been gluing bumpers, buying Ducktapes, brackets, glues, new Revenge, ordered a new Combat, which we should have before Busas, and new seat to be fitted in one of the old Combats, painted helmets, arranged for Cardiff tournament etc. – have showed some activity. Want to say many many thanks however to Frodo, G, Matt, Webbo and everyone else for helping lots!
What I’d love to do next term
- put a big emphasis on getting all the breaking boats fixed asap and try to get as many people as possible involved and helping out with this challenge
- organize Wednesday Leam training on some regular basis
- give B-teams more chance to play as teams
- arrange a referees course
- look into the possibility of going to an international tournament at some point
- and, of course, ensure the usual smooth organisation of training, exec meetings, tournaments, Fresher’s recruitment etc.
So please vote! Afraid I don’t have internet where I’m staying, so won’t be able to reply to any comments straight away… Latvo
