 | Another good year at the BUSAs, solidifying our place as a uni to be reckoned with: Final BUSA Positions Old Boys Gits 9th (last year 4th - perhaps a little disappointing from their point of view) B Team 5th (last year 6th) Ladies 7th (last year 9th) Open 3rd (last year 3rd) Well played to everyone who took part and made it very easy to organise; packing up at the end was very quick! Special mentoin to the B Team - for playing without any substitutes and still managing to finish 5th. Golden-goals a-plenty for the ladies, with at least two games being won at the death. Mens A thought they'd do it the hard way - rather than settle things with a golden goal - they took their 1/4 Final to penalties! BOAT CLEANING TOMORROW All BUSA people at the sports centre at 6.30 to clean boats before "training" please. Frodo |

 | cheers to all who helped with the organisation, especially G and Frodo For fixing so many boats so quickly and so well. Is anyone else surprisingly sun burnt? Highlights of tournament: 1)Waking up covered in egg, I will find out who it was and when I do.... 2)Coming third after 2 nights of above average beer consumption from most members of our team and some good chundering from the G man 3)Frodos exploits in the penalty shoot out

 | lol you poor boy Art... Did you get scared of me? Or there might be someone else I've got in mind..
7) everyone being so cooperative, campsite cleared in couple of mins, about six people helping take down Madi's tent, nearly missed the moment van got loaded...
Thanks to everyone indeed! I think G and Frodo deserve a pint from all members of club over this term for all that good work! You're certainly each getting a drink from me! Thanks guys |

 | Thanks to Matt too for all your coaching and work, on and before the weekend. It certainly helped the ladies team :) my highlights have to be - Pushing in Nottingham Ladies most "difficult" player 3 times at 8am Sun morning -Woman on Woman marking (that one's for you ralph!) -Warwick Ladies vs Brum Ladies - probably the loudest cheering/banter all weekend Thanks everyone |

| I have been doing some detective work involving analysing handwriting in the tiger book. The book says: "successfully egging strongman (anonymous)" immediately followed by "successfully egging Madi + Webbo + destroying Noj's food (Ralph)" the pen is obviously the same (there was only one red pen) but the handwriting of each comment is remarkably similar... It also appears to be closely matched to Ralph's entry for the Cardiff Tournament. Draw your own conclusions ;-) Angie is right: thanks Matt for your efforts in getting all teams into shape - throughout the whole year. Being such a long term job with short term results its a commitment easily overlooked! Also to all who reffed etc |
